ESC is hosting its annual Environmental Symposium on March 24th from 9:00-2:00 at the University of Washington. We are looking to get information about the event out to as many parents and students as possible. This event is open to all teens and we are hoping you would be willing to share with your network. I’ve included a brief blurb about the event below as well as attached a flyer.

YMCA Environmental Symposium

The Symposium gathers passionate, motivated student leaders together at the University of Washington to learn about the environmental issues facing our world and how to create a sustainable future for our schools, communities and beyond! Participants will take part in hands-on workshops led by local organizations and designed to educate students about environmental topics as well as give teens the skills they need to address environmental issues in their schools and communities. Youth will be networking with peers and adults and gaining tools to create real, positive change. Lunch will be provided with vegetarian options available. There will also be a free raffle of outdoor and environmental prizes for all in attendance.
