End of the Year 2016-2017 Wrap Up.....

Liberty PTSA families -

It's hard to believe that we are wrapping up the year, it has flown by. Thank you to YOU - our members, for your generous donations that support our programs, to all our volunteers that donate your valuable time, and to our  amazing staff and community that continually supports our needs.

Due to your financial support, this year we were able to give over $10,000 in classroom grants - supporting the following: Marching Band - able to provide pizza for all Middle School and High School band members, who collaborated for a workshop prior to performing for a home football game; Issaquah Power Pack Food bank donation; LHS Health Room supplies; Purchased a mini-fridge to support the Outreach breakfast program for students; Mailer sent to all families from school listing resources available; Band & Orchestra bringing in professional musicians into the classroom; CARE week pancake breakfast and program funding; Choir workshop funding while on Disney trip and the Discover Your Power Self-Defense Workshop.

PLUS....PTSA was able to purchase an industrial grade CNC cutter for Liberty, valued at over $10,000, for our woods & metal fabrication classes that also benefits the robotics and TSA clubs, making us the only high school in the district with this technology available to our students.

This year Liberty PTSA was awarded a Silver Award from State PTA for growth in membership numbers, increasing our members by 9% over last year! We also won a Gold Standards of Excellence Award at the annual convention, for going above and beyond what we are required to do. All of this was possible due to the strong support we have from you, our members.

We appreciate all of your support of PTSA, and please remember to join, donate, and sign up for volunteer opportunities next fall during the school RSVP process. To our graduating families - we wish your graduate good luck! Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey, we will use this information to make Liberty PTSA even better next year. Feel free to contact us at any time at president@libertyhighptsa.com.

Thank you & Go Patriots!

Shelly Russell, Liberty PTSA President 2016-17
