Hello Liberty Families,

As we wrap us the year, we would like to thank you for joining, volunteering and donating to support Liberty PTSA. We are so thankful to get back to normal after a few crazy Covid years.  Here are some of our accomplishments for the year:

•       Provided over $2,000 in Enrichment Grants to support Science curriculum, the Liberty PATS program, various Counseling Office requests, and the LRC2 Garden project.

•       The Liberty PTSA Staff Appreciation Committee held bi-monthly luncheons for the staff as well as for Staff Appreciation Week in May.  The staff really enjoyed the coffee cart and bagels we provided during Staff Appreciation Week.

•       Thanks to your generous support of the Liberty PTSA Outreach program were able to keep the Counseling office stocked with food and personal care items for students.  We also fulfilled numerous requests for clothing, haircuts, and other personal items to students in need.  We also held our annual "Swap & Shop" and "Prom Closet" events where students could select free formal wear for Homecoming, Navy Ball, and Prom. Thanks to Kristi Hammond, our amazing Outreach chair, as well our many Angel Donors for your support!

•       Provided over 100 volunteers to the school for Laptop Distribution, Textbook Check out/Check in, and Picture Day .  Thanks to everyone who helped with these events.

•       Our PTSA Class of 2023 Senior Events Committee led by Charise Pruitt-Law worked hard to make it a special year for our seniors! They planned the Senior Sunrise, Senior Breakfast, Night of Reflection Event, Senior Sunset, and the All Night Grad Party.  Thanks to all of the Class of 2023 corporate sponsors including Symmetry Electronics, Hop In Grocery & Deli, Seattle Seahawks, Doofer's Bar & Grill, Sound Orthodontics, Newcastle Heated Storage, Seattle Mariners, and Dulce Lash and Skin, as well as all of the individual donors for helping to make this night affordable for all students.

•       Organized the National PTA Reflections art program last fall.  Congrats to Nidhi A. who was one of seven WA state finalists who advanced to the National level!

Additionally, Liberty PTSA helps fund the Issaquah PTSA Council ParentWiser Program which provides Parent Education seminars throughout the year. As a Liberty PTSA member, admission is free to all of these events!

Again, we appreciate all of your support of Liberty PTSA, and please remember to join, donate, and sign up for volunteer opportunities in August during the school Enrollment Verification process. To our graduating families - we wish your graduate good luck!

Thank you to all our PTSA volunteers who served on the board of directors/committee chairs  - Laila Collins, Korista Smith-Barney, Erin Thacker, Dawn Carr, Stina Fluegge, Kristi Isaacs, Kristi Hammond, Alison Larsson, Charise Pruitt-Law, Kimberly Nocco, KaseyAnn Morrelli, Kim Wales, Jessica Anderson,  Jen Davis Hayes, and Deena Rataezyk, as well as all of our other amazing volunteers who helped with Staff Appreciation and Senior Events!  If we missed anyone, we apologize.
